Ups and Downs

A two-page comic that was created with the goal of implementing a visual connection between the two pages. It follows the rollercoaster of a conversation between two friends that reveals the ins and outs of their relationship- yes, they have their gripes with each other, but those situations happened because of their strong, mutual trust in the first place.
Process Work
Linear Rough
The first stage of planning the arrangement of panels, dialogue, and 'camera angles' within the panels.
Revised Linear
Adjusted panel sizes and placements to give more room for the rollercoaster. Dialogue is reduced on the second page, and basic flat colours are added to the elements on both pages.
